oxygen sensors

ok guys i got a question...i have a 98 2dr 4x4 with the vortec engine...my vehicle has been running flawlessly so yesterday i fill it up with gas and my check engine light comes on so i drive it to the house and park it...i go outside this morning to start the vehicle and everything turns over but it wont crank like its not getting any fuel too it...i go buy a code reader and it gives me the bank 1 and bank 2 codes....is this the oxygen sensors and will they cause ur vehicle not to crank?...when i turn the key i hear the fuel pump kick on so im not sure if its the fuel pump and i have a full tank of gas in the vehicle so im not wantin to drop that tank just yet lol.

The code you read prolly went like this bank 1 O2 sensor indicates lean bank 2 O2 sensor indicates lean.

What it translates into is too much air, not enough fuel. Put a fuel pressure gauge on the shrader valve and check fuel pressure and volume fuel pressure should be 60+psi, moreso when you blip the throttle.
