Ordered Edge Evolution - what about the display

Can i use the evolution w/o the display? Never seen them for the yukon and ordered it assuming it was just a programmer / module, didn't know it came with the display automatically. It needs to be super stealth, like the wife can't know about it, even though it's her car... :thumbsup:

the edge works with or without the display. it downloads the programming to the truck computer when it is plugged in for the 1st time. after the progamming is done the display just act like a computer monitor. It is definitely not needed to use the programming. I am running the edge tune without the display at this time. I am doing it stealthily as well.

Can you change it from 'economy' mode to 'performance' mode (or whatever they're called) on the fly?

You can't change the mode while driving. You need to pull over and plug the device in and let it reprogram itself.
