ok my hids from higher level auto came in today, and they look really cool, i cant wait to install them. it looks like a really nice kit, came in a cool gold box, all organised, and just looks like a very high quality kit. NICE JOB mike, but theres ALOT more wires than i expected and the ballests are huge, thats one thing that i wish they had were the slim ballests. but it will work. now a couple of questions.

1. where is a save place to mount the ballests?
2. how do i hide all the wires, or where are safe places? like can they get wet? i know that they should avoid moving parts.
3. according to the instructions, i only need one of my head light plugs because it gets its main power from the battery, so i use the drivers side, because thats where the battery is, but what about the other one, should i protect that some how, or just hide it?, whats the best way to hide and/or protect it? thanks for yalls help.

but here are some picks of my 5000K 9006 low beam installation!!

i will probably start working tommarrow, so more pics probably then.

first day. NEW KIT

Take it easy, sport!

It could have been more complicated -- you could have gotten a kit with an out-board ignitor as well! It takes some planning and patience to figure things out. Follow Mike's instruction document, don't rush it, and you'll do fine and not electrocute yourself!

Now I can't wait for mine! ;)

i know not to rush it, thats some stuff i remember from working as a mechnic, like engine swaps, boy do you gotta have tuff hands, able to be paitent and make sure you dont get frustrated easily, thats what makes a job hard is when you get frustrated. if i get too over whelmed, i have a guy where i used to work who would glady give me a hand, but it looks preety simple, and i think i have found some mounting places. but the instructions that came with them are preety strait forward. hope you get yours in. !!

well i wanted to see how the halos worked, so as i tested them i found that the right side was ATON brighter than the left side, i sent an e-mail to the company, got a responce back about 30 min ago and they said send them back for a new pair, so it looks like i wont be installing until i get a working set of projectors in, most likley next tuesday or wensday:cuss: :nonod:  but o well, cant rush art.
