Just bought a 2007 4WD Tahoe LT2 and one of the rear shocks looks like the oil has leaked out. I am not interested in any ride height mods-just high quality replacement shocks. I'm considering doing front and rear. I've had good luck with Bilsteins in the past amd I see that they make a replacement fitment for this vehicle with their 4600 series.
Anyone put Bilsteins on their Tahoe? If not Bilsteins, what are popular replacement shocks?
More: Firestone shops have a 3 for 4 deal on Napa/Monroe shocks. So, I ordered up a quote on those as well as the Bilsteins, which they can source. Also quoting Bridgestone Dueler Alenza Plus tires which is their latest and greatest effort for highway SUVs. Also pleased to learn they have a half price deal on alignments with tire purchase. That means $45 for one or $90 for lifetime. Not bad.
