Noice

I hope some one will help me I have 2002 Tahoe rear wheel drive I service trans oil and filter three month ago even I service deff oil too , today 04/20/14 I was backing the truck in to my parking garage sudden something locked and truck stops I put the shifter to D is ok I put back to R Trans didn't engage or was engaging but didn't go back I was accelerating seems something was holding the truck I try many time till start going back this is first time happens please any advice?
and only in the morning when the truck is cold I start and slowly driving I hear clinking noise from under the truck and goes away

I replied on post on the other thread only didnt realize it was 3 months ago that you did the service... so what i posted probably wont be helpful.. but i do have another suggestion.. inspect your park brake shoes you need to remove the rear brake rotors and that will expose the park brake shoe assy the sometimes separate from the bond and get lodged and cause that drag and or lock up your feeling

I check my rear brakes I pull off the rotors and I check Parking brake pads too is ok still brand new since then didnt happen again, any other suggestion please?

NO is rear wheel drive and 67000 mile only today I raice back wheel on jack stand and i put on Revers and i heard some cliking nices while tires are backing but in Drive there is no noice is that ok?
some people talled the park brake may engaed some time while backing up .
is that true?

No not on that design if they were just rear brake drums yes but not on the unidrum design thats on your tahoe... were you able to isolate or maybe hear where the clicking was coming from was it from around the tires/brake assembly area or more from the differential area

noise was coming from inside transmisstion some clicking noise while backing , but my main concern is why I was backing and sudden stops like some one is holding the truck i put many time in to drive and back to Revrese truck didnt move but trans was engaging then as soon i push the parking brake and releas truck start going back since then,
and I never use my parking brake at all .

hi again the noise was from Trans I took to trans shop and they rebuilt the trans but as soon I drive to home and I wanted to test drive truck start but A/C air was not blowing from front vents only from top vents then sudden truck shut off I start start little bit and shut off again mechanic told me is the fuel pump.
I check fuel press was no press, but sudden works little then shut off again

HI I have 02 Tahoe 70000 mile 5.3 No service engine light works great but as soon I rebuilt my transmission I went got my truck from shop now not working I check fuel press ok but as soon I start the engine slowly the gage comes down and shut off the engine but when I bleed the gas from the press gage the pressure goes up and truck works ok please can you help?
