Four wheel drive light on knob stays on but front wheels will not engage. I can not get it to even show four low. I couldn't hear the actuator kick in so I put a new one on today. I can hear it engage now but still do not have four wheel drive. We have a lot of snow so I can't get it to a lift soon or a scanner. Any help would be appreciated. Also I don't have any service warnings showing up on the dash. Thanks and God Bless!

Did you try putting into neutral first then switch gears
