Hey Guys,
I just bought my wife an '05 Z71 4x4 Tahoe, and I'm looking to start spending a little money on it. I had to sell my 2000 4x4 Chevy K2500, and inherited her 2000 ford exploder, but oh well, she now has a very sweet ride. She even lets me drive it now and then!
The truck is all stock right now with the 5.3. I would like to get the x2 a Christmas gift that would add to the performance of her new ride. My question is where do I start to get the most bang for my buck.
Do I start with a chip, exhaust, or intake, or is there something else that will really make a difference in performance? My Christmas budget is not an extreme issue but I don't want to do a bunch of stuff at once. My mechanical skills are intermediate so I am confident that I can do installation on anything that is custom fit, and I am fortunate enough to have several mechanics as personal friends that can help me with most projects.
Thanks for any input/advice y'all can give.
