I just bought a 99 tahoe 4dr LT 4wd, wll my back seat won't fold down, I have looked at them, and there appears to be a cable that runs from the the bottom of the seats to the the back of the seat to disengage the lock that hold the back seat up. Both sides the cable is broke off the the bottoms of the seats. I can get ahold of of the wires and pull it to let the 60 side go down, but i can't on the passenger side. My question is I can't seem to find a part number or nothing for the cable that connects the bottom of the seat to the latch on the back seats can someone please help me out!

thanks,
Jon

There is a cable listed at http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm but I fear it may be the front that they are referring to. But, call and ask one of their techs and maybe they can help. As GLC mentioned, building your own wont be to difficult. Your only alternative is to hit the pick and pull for a wrecked out hoe.
