I would like to lease a 2008 Tahoe LT, but the maximum height in my office underground parking is 74.5in.

Removing the roof rack is an obvious first step. Would it be sufficient ?
The dealerships that I contacted are not being very helpful.

Thanks.

Tahoe and a 74.5" Garage

I doubt you would make it with the stock ride height.

This was a major concern of mine when I bought my 08 Suburban LT (same height as the Tahoe I believe). My 2 car under garage has a header height of 77 inches so I checked out the height carefully on all of the SUV's I was interested in. The Suburban/Tahoe is, according to GM's specs, 76.8 inches with the 17" wheels. Mine, with the roof rack and both cross rails moved fully forward toward the front of the truck, just brushes the raised garage door when I pull in.

Even if you were to able to get the rack completely removed, which I think would require plugs or bodywork to fill the holes in the roof, I think that you would not make 74.5 inches. You could however go for the 08 Tahoe and install a 2"/3" lowering kit.
