Just picked up a 2005 Denali...traded in a Trailblazer ss....

Just wondering, don't want it slammed. I fully understand the front torsion bar thing, but is there a way to adjust the rear about an inch or two lower without buying new springs? I haven't even looked underneath it yet.

On the Trailblazer ss, it had airbags only and you just adjusted the bracket on the frame and you could go up 2 inches or down 2 inches without a problem in about 5 minutes. A quick glimpse and it looks like this has a rod also, but it doesn't look adjustable.

thanks!

why would you not be able to put them on? It is the exact same vehicle other than the grill and the extra stuck on psuedo ground effects.

I'll take some pics for you though.

Welcome. Other than replacing your springs, the only other way is use spring clamps or heat your coils. You'll be better with the clamps instead of heating. Once heated, you can't undo it, and you have to make sure both springs are heated just right to make it level. The spring clamps you can adjust and remove if needed.
