New to me 1999 2wdr

I have made a deal on this truck and leave tomorrow for a 5.5 hour ride and same drive back with my bike in tow. WTH! Anyway, I plan to strip the rack and side trim. Do a cheap 2" rear drop and after the tires are gone, do a real drop and 18" Torque Thrust wheels. Any advice on that part will be great. Also, after the motor is gone, it will get an LS 5.3 swap. I hope that will be a year or so.

I dont like drops nor the LS series engines much.... but best of luck with your new rig....
