i was casually looking under the hood today... am i crazy or does the 2007 tahoe have a "cooler" for the power steering fluid??? i was looking on the drivers side front just behind the grill, i first thought it was a tranny cooler until i started trying to trace the hoses back....they go down and back to the steering rack and the pump... is this correct???

I just confirmed it with my estimating system and it lists a P/S cooler. PN 15186858 and it lists for $131.40

Not sure if the p/s cooler is standard or packaged in with certain options like larger wheels. But with bigger wheels, such as your factory 20"s, a p/s cooler is beneficial in keeping the fluid cooler, as the p/s pump has to work harder to turn larger wheels.
I was going to add a cooler to my p/s pump when I installed some larger wheels, only to find out my 01 LT already has a stock p/s cooler. So it may be standard on heavier upper trim models or maybe even all 00-up models.
