New owner Autoride and Airbag Light Questions!

Hello,

I own a 2010 tahoe ltz and i have a question about the autoride system.

Every time i turn the car on the compressor kicks in for some seconds then it shuts off, if i turn off the car and restart lets say 5 mins after the compressor kicks again and shuts down after some seconds. Is this normal to everytime i turn the truck on the compressor kicks?

Also when i pull my boat i can hear the compressor turning on lets say every 10 mins and shuts down after some seconds, does this sounds normal?


Couple of times i have been getting a intermittent airbag light along with service airbag system but i turn the car off and restart and the light won't come again, this have happened 3 times, what should I check?

That is typical of the air ride system when you turn the truck on and off. Cannot answer really about when towing. I do not remember hearing mine when towing my boat though.

The air bag light just sounds like you have a bad connection going on, most typical is the passenger side air bag connector open up the glove compartment and release the stopping tabs so that it opens all the way you should be able to see a yellow connector release it from its mounted location remove the security assurance clip disconnect the connector and on the male side connector get a small pair of needle nosed pliers and slightly twist the male terminals so that when it reconnected it will assure a better connection
