I've read a lot of eye opening scenarios already in twenty minutes. just had a mechanic change idler arm pitman and tie rod. when i dropped it off i told him there was a knocking sound in the front end when i would turn left and hit the smallest of bumps. there was also some play in the steering. $650 dollars later the knocking sound is still there. i brought it back and asked him about he said oh yeah i forgot to tell you that torsion bar bracket was broken he started to look up kits and said he get back to me and that it would be around $550. haven't heard from and him and i wont be going back. so now I'm here. p0430 code may have to replace the cats. read into it and realized that they usually don't just go bad for no reason. kept reading. found a thread about intake manifold gaskets and how the coolant leak could be clogging the cats.
So does anyone know anything about changing the torsion bar brackets? Already read into the gasket problem because i am leaking coolant. shop said it was the radiator but i haven't noticed any puddles.
