Hey all. I had the AFM failed lifter and low oil pressure issue. 182k. I replaced the engine with one from Promar - entire long block with a new VLOM.
I have two questions - issues.
One - how can I reset the engine hours to zero since it legitimately has zero hours on it
Two - upon AFM dis activation I get a random misfire code. I have noticed that I get flex fuel sensor error as well.
Where is the flex fuel composition sensor, and if it does not have it for my 08 5.3, how does the ECM know?
I have new cam and crank sensors in the new motor as well.
