Need help

I am trying to install a in dash DVD player/radio, and I need to hook up a parking brake sensor wire. Unfortunately I have no idea which wire I am supposed to hook this to. Any help would be great. I have a 98 Tahoe. I'm gonna need a pretty good description if anyone knows.

I'm not recommending you do this but I did the following.

Take the wire from the dvd unit and run it to a switch. Run the other side to a ground. When you want to watch a dvd just click the switch to simulate the parking brake.
