Hello new to forum and to Tahoe.
I have a 1998 Tahoe K1500 LT 4x4 (or so I was informed).

I have a couple of minor (at the moment) problems.
Any help would be appreciated! :)

OK, here goes,

-Wiper Motor
With the wiper selector set to intermediate (any or low) usually

operates as if on low with no pause. If I switch it to off it will

continue for a couple of seconds and stop where ever.

Would that be in the wiper motor or the switch?

-Interior Lights
When I put the fuse in all interior light come on and stay on, (except

the "spot" lights that have there own power switch.) Door lights and

center interior lights remain on with all doors closed and ignition

switch on or off.

I'm at a loss here..:sad72:

Again any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Wiper issue could be the pulse module in the wiper motor itself or the switch I guess, sorry not much help there, but if you go to autozone.com you can get some wiring diagrams to help troubleshoot it...

Lights, I would suspect you have a bad door switch or a pinched wire. GM grounds the wire from the door switch to activate the lights. Could open the doors one at a time, and manually depress each switch (when mine did that the culprit switch kept the lights on just a tad dimmer giving me an indication as to which one was on the "blink".) Otherwise you could pull the switches one at a time and unplug them.....

I agree lester there use to be a special policy on those wiper motor modules you need disconnect the connector to the wiper motor then remove the cover off the wiper motor it has four 20 torx bit screws holding the cover grab it from the connector end and rock it till it comes out and install the new one.. again agree with lester sounds like a bad door lamp switch mounted on the each side of the ip panel
