Need front speakers

So I heard some crackling at low volume. I probably should replace the fronts on my non-bose system. I learned we have 6 3/4" speakers? Not too many in that size. Who has replaced their fronts? And what did you put in there?

Which of these speakers do you like best? The Rockfords seem to be the best deal, but I've never had them for door speakers. I like Alpine, but they are 6 1/2". I know the difference is minimal though.

Pioneer makes 6 3/4" speakers specifically for GM vehicles, but just about any 6 1/2" speaker will work. Rockford speakers are okay. Infinity, Alpine, Eclipse, JL, and Boston make good 2-way speakers. I'm running Infinity Kappa 6.5" components in both my Tahoe and my CTS.

Hmmm.. well I want to stick with coaxes. Preferably bassy since the Tahoe's are already lacking in that dept.

Edit: And scratch the RFs. I just saw they are 3 ways.

Did you purchase some?
I am looking to replace mine in my 2000(new body)(starting to crackle)
I guess I thought wrong thinking they were 6.25 speakers.

Just looking for small upgrade. will scope out ebay.
