NAV Question

I'm sure it is in here somewhere...but just can't find it. Is there a way to change the nav so you can enter any address while driving? Most gps units have a safe mode which you can disable. Is this the case with the built in nav? Thanks!

It's a safety "feature" and not a bug. Although I must admit, I have a GMX-320.
