i have a 1997 tahoe 2wd. 4 door. stock everything (exhaust wise) i have had to weld my muffler back a few times now. rusting out at a seam. my question is what would be the best thing to do. go with a flow master that works the same way 2x 2.25 into the muffler and one going out. or do two different mufflers? say the 40 series. i want something i cant just slip on a weld up. i want something with more sound but not to loud.

I did a 3" in 3" out 40 series flowmaster on the hoe, it was too loud at highway speeds (engine 2k).....

i have had mine for a couple of weeks now. its not that loud. which is perfect. highway speeds arent that bad either. seems to do a little better of fuel and torque. i would suggest it to anyone wanting or needing something different.
