Has anyone had a problem with moisture on the carpet in the second row right near the doors? I have a 2005 Yukon XL with 55,000 miles. At first I thought it was liquid from my kids drinks, but everytime I clean it up it comes back and in the same spot. It's near where the carpet and the plastic meet each other at the door. At first it was only on one side, but now it's on both!

I had it on the passenger side from the cargo area to the front. After ripping out the whole interior I couldnt figure it out, finally I got a roll of cork tape, sealed the very back corner, also removed the seam seal and redid that, and also used the cork tape at the opening where the ac lines come up through the floor. Its been raing almost every day here in Pa and I can now say I have no moisture coming in. I also caulked the hell out of the tie down bolt holes in the rear.

Good luck

I have the same problem in my 96....but can't figure out where it's coming from. Also had a leak which looked like it was coming from that black box under the glove box which has now mysteriously stopped and must have a leak in the back cargo area as the carpet is always damp after raining.

Thanks for the info. I don't know what the heck is creating this moisture, we haven't had any rain down here in south Florida for weeks and the carpet is still wet in these areas. I'm assuming there are no water lines of any sort in this area. The wet area smells a little musty, like it's water, no other fluid.
