Is it possible? I've got barn doors on my Yuke and desperately wanna get a set of the LED tails that everyone is buying on here. However, as we all know, they "Will not fit barn door models" according to nearly every vendor that I've seen on e-bay.

So, my question is this - is it possible to mod the housing to fit the barn door models, or would you totally mangle the lenses? Has anyone tried this yet?

I dunno what the differences are but there is a set that does fit the barnyard doors also. search through the LED tail threads. can't remember who said it and **** model of LED lights it was.

I've searched a bunch on ebay, and can't seem to find any that fit the barn door models. I'll keep looking though.

I also have barn doors and the light need to have the bottom clear for the hinges. Basically the LEDs need to have a reflector on the bottom where the stock tails have one. I'm going to try these.

Thanks for the links Brandon, thats what I was looking for. It's funny though, one of the ebay links for those tails said "will fit with barn doors" and the other one said "will NOT fit barn door models" but it was the same type of tails...:confused2:

I'll have to pull off one of my taillights and compare it to one of the tails on my FIL's suburban, and see what's different about it.
