The console came without a latch or lock on my early 2000 Tahoe LT. I know that it's not gonna keep anyone out who wants to get in there( that's probably what happened to the first one), but it bugs me just to have a big hole there. I'm sure I could get one through the local dealer at a cost of one arm and one leg. They charge nearly $30 for a quart of Autotrack fluid. If I found one at a parts yard can they be re-keyed to fit my ignition? Or would an OEM direct site have something like that?
