mirror cover

Does anyone know how to remove the original mirror covers on the tahoe. I think it just pops off if anyone has removed one please pass on that information. Just bought some escalade mirrors trying to swap the covers if its possible.

I was wondering the same thing.. I think it just has tabs from what i understand but i haven't tried to pull them off yet.
