LT Headers, Exhaust and Tunes for 6.2L

Hello all,

Does anyone knows if there are any LT Headers for the 6.2L on the market yet. I have been jumping around a few forums and all anyone is saying is that they have heard of a few companies working on them.

Also as far as catback systems go for the 6.2L has anyone noticed a significant gain from aftermarket exhaust because it seems like the factory exhaust flows pretty good and has a nice sound.

lastly I'm coming to the conclusion that I'm not going to waste my money on a handheld tuner and instead get a custom tune. I have already contact justin from blackbear tune but was wondering if anyone knows of any other custom tunes available.

your best bet would be to contact some of the companys yourself, i would look into kooks headers which would be custom built or look at dynatech. the stock exhuast is pretty good flowing but your wasting money on lts if your not going to replace the cat back exhuast, i suggest mbrp, i have theres for my 5.3l and am very pleased, they use a highflow muffler so you will see more power from the kit and not just sound. i think blackbear would be your best choice on a custom tune. are u also thinking about doing a cold air intake?

I do plan on doing a CAI but I want to get the tune first so I could re-tune the engine as I add bolt-ons. I plan on going with the volant intake I think it has the best and most reviews. I'm not sure if I have heard of the exhaust that your talking about. I know dynatech makes good headers I have a set on my 99 T/A and love them. So I will wait to see what they come up with.
