Lost key Fob

My wife lost tHe key fob and key to our 2007 tahoe ltz and i think it may be in the Tahoe somewhere? We have the other key and fob but it won't open or unlock or start the vehicle,it did work before we lost the other fob but now it won't work. If 1 key fob is in the Tahoe (lost), will the other remote fob work?
