Looking for posi traction

I have a 2004 tahoe 4x4 i am looing to eliminate the limited slip and would like to install a full posi traction setup...... Is this possiable and are there any down sides to doing this while having a 4x4 suv thaNks for the help

We dont have a limited slip. We have a posi traction. You can check it for your self but we have an Eaton G80.
