Hey guys, just purchased a black 02' Z71 about a week ago and am starting to look at some new wheels for it. I'm pretty set on 20's so I was just wondering what size tire you guys would recommend. I don't want a ton of wheel well showing but don't want it to look stupid either. Any advice would be great!
Also, anyone out there put any of the new 0EM 20" 5-spoke from the newer tahoes on the 01'-06' style Z71? I think it could look pretty sweet.

I just put 20's on my 04 Tahoe that came with 265/70/17 stock
I used 275/55r/20's same overall size

Looks great, I was worried about not enuf tire sidwall. I think it looks great. Rides just a good to. I went with the Cooper Discovery HT PLus tires. Love them.

Thanks for the info!
06Tahoez, I'm assuming by your pic that you've lowered yours? (Looks awesome by the way!) I'm not planning on doing that anytime soon so that's why I'm a little worried about the wheel well spacing.
I'm guessing the 275/55's would be my best bet then??

I'm running 275/55/20 on mine, also the stock size on the new body style and they fit perfect even with the drop.

I have 305/50/20s:thumbsup: I liked how they filled out the wells and left enough sidewall for any potholes.

Yes, I have lowered mine. That reminds me, I need to update my sig since the wheels/tires in this pic are my 22s, not the new 20s.
