Looking at 01 tahoe w/54000 miles

Should I look for anything specifically? I am referring to potential problems or known problems. The truck is is fantastic shape. Have not taken it for a drive yet.

besides checking all the fluids trans oil coolant ps brake fluid etc. lay on the ground look for leaks. look for alot of rust on differential in rear frame etc. signs of water or wet climate. look at rear brake backing plates known for rotting out put it in 4wd auto4wd if it has it. listen for a whine at 45 to 50 mph in the front differential not good try 4wdlow. then drive it like you stole it and listen for any abnormal noises or smoke fom tailpipe. most likely it will have a clunk felt in the steering wheel when turning an easy fix. and most important spend the 24.00 an run a carfax..

Some of the smaller things i wished i would have payed more attention to when i bought mine were to make sure the backlights for AC/heater, radio, etc work, the shocks (especially if its autoride cause those are expensive).
