i have a really bad habbit of locking my keys my tahoe. its a 97 LT 4dr 4x4. anyway since my tahoe doesnt have onstar, where can a find a keypad to put on the door so i can enter a code and the doors unlock. you know those things that alot of fords have. is it possible to put one on a tahoe? where would i go to find one?

Don't know of a key pad entry for a Tahoe, however, you may wish to try this.
You could put a door lock over ride switch under the plastic cover between your hood and the windshield. There is a section on the drivers side which works well for that purpose. Get a weather proof switch, mount it below the cover, run a positive wire to it from a non keyed source, then a wire to the drivers door lock. If you lock yourself out, you simply have to press down on the plastic cover to open the drivers door.
