has anyone looked into getting a set of the new tahoe/yukon hybrid taillights as an LED replacement for regular OEM units? from everything i've read the hybrid models come with LED's but in the standard tahoe/suburban style (vs. the vertical rows of escalades/etc.)....wonder how much those might be, and if they'd have the same re-wiring complications that the escalade lights present...??
i found a pic of a lit pair on ebay - a link to the direct image is copied below, if it works..but if it doesn't, just search ebay for "tahoe hybrid" and check out a couple of the ones that pop up - several have a pic of the taillights in the listing.
just a thought....sounds like it might be a viable option, though maybe no easier than some of the others...
