Leather Seat Repair

I have a 2003 Tahoe with the tan leather seats. The official color is shale 522. I have ordered a leather repair kit and I cannot find anyone to translate the color dye that I need to use with the aftermarket guides. Using an internet guide is hard because the monitor does not display the colors correctly. Has anyone used a kit and does anyone know what after market color code to use? I bought one to fix some cracks and a small tear. I just cannot get the color match because no one knows the right code. Any help is appreciated.
