Leaking Tahoe..please Help

hey all, i am new here. i have a 96 tahoe 4 door 4x4. i have found when it rains water is leaking through the recirculation vent under the dash on the passenger side. the flap that opens and closes when you use your air. how can i fix this? where would the leak be starting at? it is flooding my carpet. please help. thanks

If that model has a cowl vent panel,where wipers are, remove it and see if there are any drains for water that may be clogged with debris. That's usually the culprit.
There may be a drain hose located near the evaporator hsng. Run some water from garden hose lightly and see what 's going on. You may have an easy fix if you look closely.
