We have a 2007 Tahoe and having problems with the keyless remote. Went to the store the other day got out and tried to lock the doors and the remote would not work. The next day the same thing happened at the same store and the remote still would not work. Had my extra set of keys to the Tahoe with the extra remote and that remote would not work either. When I get home the remotes work fine --locks and unlocks the doors with no problems. When I was in the store parking lot, I noticed another woman having the same exact problem with her car (not a Tahoe) and her keyless remote would not work for her either. Could there be something type of frequency of some sort in that area that interferes with the remotes possibly?? Just seems like it is only in that area of town that I was having problems....different areas I don't. Thanks for any advice!

I had that happen to my 2007 Yukon about a year ago, and noticed I had some other issues. In my case, it was only the two front doors that would not lock. The two back doors and the tail gate would lock, but not the front doors. I got back in the vehicle and tried to lock the doors using the lock button on the driver's side armrest, with the same result - the two front doors would not lock. The only way we could lock the front doors was to manually push the lock buttons down from the inside. Then I tried to unlock the doors using the unlock button on the driver's armrest, and all locks opened except for the front doors. Very odd. We drove on our way, and several minutes later I tried the door locks and everything worked as it should.

This problem comes and goes at random times. Sometimes it never happens for a few months, then without warning the front doors go into the Twilight Zone for a few minutes and ignore all commands by any means to lock or unlock them - the remote, the lock/unlock button, or placing the vehicle in drive (I have the DIC lock option set to lock the doors when the vehicle is shifted into gear - even that doesn't work in these instances).

We've just chalked this up to a "glitch" somewhere in one or more of the on-board computers. Wished it had gone out permanently so the dealer could have fixed it under warranty, but too late for that now.
