Key fob acting up!

HELP! My key fob(s) are acting up. They work while I'm in my truck. When I exit my truck they work for about 5 -10 seconds. Then they no longer work until I put the key in the door handle. It's like it goes to sleep or forgets it. Any ideas!!!

I just bought a 2007 that is doing the exact same thing. i've replaced the battery in the FOB and even did the whole "Relearn FOB" activity with the DIC.

did you ever find out the cause or how to remedy this issue? help would be much appreciated.
