K&N air intake?

i have a 1997 4dr 4x4 tahoe. how many of yall have K&N intake systems. do they really increase HP and MPG as they say they do. i am really interested in the most MPG i can get. right now i am avaraging 20mpg and can go somewhere around 400 mile a tank. the entire vehicle is completely stock. i also want to give it a good tune up like new spark plugs and wires, air intake, fuel filter, oil, and seafoam.

ABSO-EFFING-LUTELY...Your not gonna get 500 MPG but its definately a noticeable increase, same with power gains. Plus your Hoe will sound alot tougher. I highly recomend it...And you will never have to buy another air filter.

I didnt notice anything, I like flooring it with the k&n and my dual exhaust it makes a allot of freakin noise
