Thinking of buying one of these, as I'm tired of waiting on GM to come out with a solution.

1) Are you happy with it?
2) What, if any, capability do you have through the stearing wheel audio controls
3) Any issues with the ipod running dead after each time the car is turned off (it doesn't sound like power remains on to the ipod). This can't be good for ipod battery life!

Thanks,
Brian

coastal-etech is horrible. i had problems with mine they said send it back and we will replace it. they have not sent me a new unit even though it has been 3 weeks and several emails later. stick with peripheral, several posts are very positive and i've got a friend that loves his. you have some controls on the wheel.

just my 2 cents

My 2 cents...

1. Ive had mine for about 3 months and am extremely happy with it.

2. You can only control the up and down song selection through the steering controls.

3. Ipod is charging while power is on and totally shuts off when tahoe is off. No issues with battery life in and out of the vehicle.

I do wish the factory interface was a little better when it comes to selecting playlists, artists, etc etc. It really takes some practice to get down.

The best thing about it is that it is extremely clean. The ipod remains in your glovebox if thats how you choose to do it.
