Sure could use some help here- Bought 99 LS (older body style) with burned out fuse for interior lights. Replaced fuse and lights seemed to work normal for a day or two, then fuse burned out again. Searched here, and saw tip to replace door switches. Replaced passenger side, thought problem was related to that side. I was hearing clicks under the dash when pass door opened/closed. Didn't help.

Replaced fuse after returning home recently, closed door and lights went out like normal. Truck sat two days, fuse didn't burn out, but battery is dead. Took fuse out. Drove it the other night without realizing hatch glass button had been bumped, and the hatch was released. Lots of clicking while driving as the hatch switch activated.Clicks under the dash sounded like what I had heard before changing front door switch- no lights though, because but the fuse is out! Separate system/relay for back glass? With fuse out, no clicking occurs when doors open/close.

Sure would like to have working interior lights. Any ideas??

Check all light sockets for shorts across..... Might check current draw across fuse with lights on, maybe someone put bigger bulbs in, check wiring to doors for entry/exit lights.
