I have an '03 Tahoe that recently started to drain the battery in a matter of a couple of days. I used an amp meter to determine that by pulling the Instrument cluster fuse I no longer see a ~250 milli amp draw.

Anyone seen anything like this?

Concerned that it may be something else causing the cluster to draw down the battery.

Looking for suggestions.

Thanks

Disconnect the cluster itself... easy to access... tilt the steering wheel in the down position apply parking brake turn the key to the on position engine off.. shift the gear selector to the one position then firmly grab a hold of the IPC bezel at the seem between the bezel and the dash panel and pull once that it off you will see the four 7mm srews holding the cluster remove those pull the cluster slowly and turn it down word and disconnect the electrical connector then observe the amps see if the draw goes away
