What are you using this amp for? Do you need the amp for a sub you plan to install? Or do you just want to run an amp to the speakers that you already have?

What do you need help with? If you have never done one before, there are plenty of step-by-step guides out there. Google is your friend.

If you need specifics for the Tahoe, there's plenty of help here. Be more specific with your questions.

Common questions relating to GM factory + sub:

1. How to run power from battery to luggage area?
Drill a hole in the firewall just above the brake pedal. Install a rubber grommet that fits well.

2. Where to ground the amp?
Either behind the factory sub (the plastic panel that holds the jack) or underneath the 2nd row seats there are a few bolts.

3. Wiring the RCA cable to the back?
There are wiring kits to either modify your harness, add an RCA port from speaker wire, or get an amp that can run speaker wire.

4. Which is the remote wire?
The blue one.

You shouldn't have to go off the speakers. I think Bose or no Bose, all of these trucks have a sub somewhere. I think yours is in the rear.

1. Disconnect that sub and take it out.
2. Take the wires that went into the sub and run it to your LOCX converter.
3. Now you should be able to run RCA wires from the LOCX converter to your amp.

Oh, you can ground your amp wherever you want really. I lifted the carpet up next to one of my rear seats. I then took a dremel and took off all of the paint in about a quarter-size worth of area. Once you see the metal, just drill your ground in there.
