Hello All
I've been a 07 Tahoe LTZ owner since Feb of this year and I love this ride. One thing I'd like to change is the step bar that comes with the LTZ to the step bar on the Z71. There is a pic below that was posted by another member (mxrider34) just for reference. Does anyone know where I can get this exact step bar or the part number?

Go back and get to know your Chevy Parts Dept Mgr. He can look up the P/N. I suspect that they are in the $600-$800 range. Be aware that there is a special molding on the rocker panel that you'll also need to make them look right. I wanted to do the same thing but decided to go with the Lund Step Rail (P/N 271030) and mounting kit (P/N 300065). $354 incl shipping from Stylin Concepts.

Thanks for the info Shark. I just like the way the Z71 step bars look. I did notice the molding that goes with the step bars.

The last timme I went to the dealership, the people I spoke to had no clue.

Did you try the Parts Dept? I've always had pretty good luck. Of course the dozen donuts once in awhile probably doesn't hurt.

I'd bet that with the rocker moldings, you'll be in the $1K range.

Do you have pics of the Tahoe with the Lund Step Rails? If they are already posted, can you send me the link?

Thanks for the pics shark. That is a nice step bar, but I'm still liking the Z71's. I guess I will have to just stick with my factory step bar.

I do have a Z71 Avalanche. The first thing I did was take the side skirts off behind the bars. It looks better IMO without those. I can post some pics for you at the end of this week when I get my truck back if you want.

Once you get the part numbers, don't forget about gmpartsdirect.com to save big bucks off the factory parts.
