I'm betting the 2007 Z71 will hold their value longer.....

They will hold their value longer because they didn't have any major incentives. I really want a Sport Red GMT800 Tahoe Z71 or GMT900 Z71 LT3 Tahoe.

I didn't have any problems finding Z71s. Every dealer I contacted had at least 1 or 2. What will keep a Tahoe's resale higher is 4wd.

Like I said in an earlier thread. From Ohio to Fla and back over a two week period I only saw three GMT900 Z71's and probably close to a hundred 900's overall.

I dont know if this is accurate or not, but according to one dealer I spoke to, not all Z71s have the label or decal on them.
Unless you are going to go off road, a Z71 has no benefit except a rougher ride.

Not accurate unless they want to remove the fender flares, Z71 specific wheels, rectangle fogs and front satin skidplate section and Z71 badges. I drove an LTZ and Z71 back to back and if there was a difference it was so small most wouldn't even notice. And really, how many of these 4X4's end up off road.

I would bet about 1% as it is only meant for snow and mud, as it lacks true low range gearing like the H2. I think it looks better though.

I wouldn't compare an LTZ to a Z71 on ride. The LTZ has larger wheels and will ride differently based on that alone. On a smooth road I doubt there would be a noticeable difference.
I drove a Z71 and and a plain Tahoe back to back, on bumps the Z71 was definitely rougher.

It's dynamic active ride control for the LTZ vs. static higher dampening shocks and stiffer springs for the Z71 that makes the LTZ ride smoother over the bumps.
