I just orderd a replacement ignition cylinder for the PD's 2002 Tahoe.
Now looking at everything that I could find on it so I don't go into this too blind, what the hell is with the J-42759 tool? It looks like a small plastic tool to release a couple of tabs to get the cylinder out of the housing. I did find the tool but $90+? WTH?
Is this absolutely mandatory or is there something else I can use/do to make the swap?
