Haven't had my Tahoe only for a few days, but when I start it, the idle is very low, and likes to jump around between 400~800 rpm. Normally, it idles at around 500~600. Is that too low?
Does the computer adjust the idle or can i bump it up a bit?

I agree too, clean that throttle body out good, solved my problem like you couldn't believe, I got tired of turning a corner and having it die midway!!

Yeah, I can see it getting to that.

Well, I cleaned the TB last night. Popped the air duct off, held it open and hosed it out wit TB cleaner. Wasn't a lot of "deposit" anywhere, just black "soot". Came off fairly easy, sprayed some on a rag and cleaned it out as deep as I could.

Then I Seafoamed it, 1/3 in the vacuum line, and the rest in the gas tank. Quite a bit of smoke came out. The idle has come up to about 600~700 rpm, and it runs pretty smooth.

Where should the idle be, ideally?
