I reset the oil life monitor

I just recently bought an 04 Tahoe, The sticker showed that the dealer changed the oil, however the change oil indication came on. I decided I would just change the oil myself and play it safe. I change the oil and reset the oil life monitor but now If I scroll through the odometer and hour meter I can't see what the current oil life remaining is. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you!

Do you have steering wheel controls ?

Unfortunately it will only display when your due for an oil change.. Change Oil Soon and when it has been reset.. Oil Life Reset
