Local pick a part had a half off sale for labor day. Went and picked through all the yukon/tahoes.. excluded all with no dipsticks. Then excluded anything over 200 thousand miles. Was left with 3 that were the years that would work, 98 99.. 97 is a special year for transmissions. Of the 3 left found one with beautiful red fluid, and bad side damage. Then side damage showed the reason the scrapped it, didn't want something that was scrapped cause the transmission broke. Lol .. got it pulled and installed and everything is working/shifting perfect!.. not bad for 100 bucks and a days work, with a 30 day warrenty!
