Why are the resale values absolutely horrible on these things if it is still one of the most reasearched cars on KBB. I don't get that :skep: . I'm trading my wifes 2007 for a 2009 Yukon when they start taking orders and I'm planning on only getting around $25 or $26k for it after paying $43k in December :nonod: .

Thats why it doesn't pay to buy a new one. It sucks but they really don't hold much value when they are driven off the lot.

You know why, it's because although they are researched, people aren't buying them.

A depreciation of $17,000 in half of a year? Ouch! What is the reason for the upcoming trade, is the 2009 going to be a new platform or something? Otherwise, why not just keep the 2007?

I'm pretty committed to keeping mine as I love my truck, and I wouldn't want to take such a beating on trade in. With fewer on the road, it makes you look rich.
