Hey All, first post here.
Tomorrow I will be going to test drive and hopefully purchase a 2001 Tahoe LT 4WD. The gentleman selling it is asking $7000.
The Tahoe has 98,500 miles on it. Leather, all the works. Seller is the original owner, an older man who kept it garaged and pulled a boat with it. Cosmetically the truck is very clean. No accidents, no rust.
I hoping to get some ideas on specific problems to look for while test driving it. Any problem areas I should look closely at? I have heard some rumors and seen some reviews about transmission issues between 90k and 150k, how relevant are these reports? Owner has all the service records and claims to have taken immaculate care of it and serviced it regularly. Transmission fluid was replaced at 70k.
I sure appreciate any advice.
Looking forward to being a tahoe owner and sharing on this forum! Thanks for the help!
