I just bought a 2003 Tahoe with the Bose system. I have decided to replace the factory head unit with a Pioneer DEH-P5000UB. I bought everything to do this. I am using the GMOS-04 wiring harness.
When I installed the unit, the stereo lights up for 5 secs and then goes blank and then I get 5 beeps from somewhere in the car. I canno get power to the stereo unless I unplug the factory 24 pin connector and reconnecting, but still only the 5 seconds of lights then beeping again.
Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? I am going to call Metra in the morning but would like to here some input from others.
