I just bought the Escalade Mirrors for my 07 Tahoe the Mirrors fit perfectly it only took about 30 minutes to install. The Mirrors look real good on the truck except for a small gap. The moldings on the Escalade and the Tahoe are different the molding on the Escalade protrudes up a little higer than the Tahoe. So there is a small gap on the vehicle the average person that looks at the mirror would not even notice the gap. I found the molding for the escalade it is different from the Tahoe. The Escalade molding goes aroound the whole window where as the Tahoe molding is just on the bottom of the window. The only question that I have is can the chrome molding of the escalade be installed on a Tahoe and how? The Chrome molding cost $412.00 for all four windows the money is no problem just need to know if this can be done.
Thanks

This is the reason why I have been holding back on purchasing the Escalade mirrors for my Tahoe. I know there are chrome window sill kits for the Tahoe but I don't know if they are thick enough to fill the gap. Could you take a picture of the gap so we can see exactly how much space there is to fill?

As for the Escalade trim molding, I'm pretty sure the doors are completely different in the fact the trim runs down all the way from front to back door. I would think you would have to actually cut the trim down to fit but then again I do not know for sure. Here's the trim I'm talking about for the Tahoe

I to have the Escalade mirrors. The trim will not work, windows are a little different in shape especially the rear. Somebody here has already tried it. I plan on trying to mold a piece that will cover up the space. If not its no big deal, no one ever notices it unless I say something. I love the look of them compared to the stick-ons.
